TAROT-TORTURE™ Taurus: November 5, 2014
EIGHT OF SWORDS (reversed): Taurus, this card talks about being ready to move forward in your life. To leave the imaginary constraints behind. Though you may not feel 100% sure of how to go about this, you do sense that you’re ready to start taking steps forward. We need to remember that it always is a little scary to go beyond what we’ve become accustomed to. This could be some limits you’ve imposed upon yourself, like maybe you don’t go out much. Or your life is online and not real life. Maybe you just go out to work, get your groceries, but you go right back into your house and…back online.
At work or in general business, this card indicates that you can make changes but you’ll have to move outside your comfort zone. You can’t make changes if you aren’t talking to people and that may be something you need to get over. Even if you feel uncomfortable venturing out there really is no choice. In matters related to finance (which are usually tied to work and business), you need to protect against surprises (thanks, Uranus!) so be sure to keep a little cash in reserve. These days, even $10 is a lot of cash! There’s a chance good surprises can happen, too, but again, they won’t happen if you aren’t venturing out somehow to be open to it.
In romance, if attached, there’s a chance you and yours won’t be seeing eye to eye. The full Moon in Taurus coming up speaks directly to you. So do keep a lid on the emotions should they get out of control. If things do come up for review and the situation can be stabilized, well, it’s not a bad thing to look at what’s really the problem. Chances are it’s not what you think it is. If you’re single, this card really is an indication that you’re not quite ready yet, you’re a work in progress, so don’t be down about being alone. You are in a relationship with yourself right now! And until you feel better about some things, it’s best to just keep things light and friendly with people. I know just what it feels like so don’t say “Oh! She doesn’t KNOW!” Yes I do! I really do. I’m working on me, too.
If you’ve not been feeling well, this is a good time to ensure that your doctor visits and blood work are in order. You have to love yourself enough to take care of yourself, Taurus. You’d say the same to anyone you love, right? So do right by you, too.
ADVICE: Taurus, you’re working on yourself and that is a good thing. If you’ve been putting that off, well, now’s a good time to start! Of course I’m here to make a friendly suggestion that it’s a good thing to do. This full Moon coming up (6th) in Taurus would be a good time to think about the past and anything that may still be hurting you deep down — something that you are telling the world, and yourself, that you are way over, so over. It’s okay to not be over past hurts! Did anyone ever tell you that you should be over something? If so, they are idiots. And you can tell them Rita said so. You’re a human — a feeling, breathing, thinking human. You’re not a robot and if you are still hurt about something, then all the more reason to look at things again and try to make peace with it. Doesn’t mean you can change the past. It just means that maybe you need to talk about it with someone you trust.
